Managing Volunteers during a Pandemic- Tennessee Case Study

During this session, we will:

▫ Guide participants through the process of establishing a Volunteer Reception Center to save time, money, and decrease liability.

▫ Encourage best practice planning to manage both affiliated and unaffiliated Volunteers during times of Disasters.

▫ And Assist in Pre-Planning of Volunteer Reception Centers to improve speed and efficiency of Response and Recovery efforts.

We will also share our lessons learned as we managed Volunteer Reception Centers during a Global Pandemic and Four Federally Declared Disasters in the State. For attending this session, participants will also receive a copy of our State’s Volunteer Reception Center Plan.
